I have just suffered a second miscarriage in about a year. I participate in a Share support group once a month. And I will soon be starting a regular exercise regime. I have started taking prenatal vitamins and trying to eat better. I am anxious to try again, but I will wait the suggested 3 month time. I am just trying to accept now that I am having this problem. But this newsletter has helped a lot. I am taking a more proactive stand on conceiving and having another beautiful addition to our family. And I think that I will try natural body products and cleaning products more.

How much DHEA should we take daily? I'm 49 and still trying to get pregnant. I've had every test under the sun, been through IVF, IUI, and antiobiotic therapy, and have been eating organic food for 5 years plus all the other supplements and healthy ways of living prescribed to me. I was very fertile when I was younger, my cycle was like clockwork every 31 days.

I have not tried the DHEA yet, because one of the tests my prior naturopath did showed my DHEA was fine. But perhaps its time to try it?!

So how much per day?

I have been diagnosed with uterine fibroids which causes the mucus during ovulation dark red colour, what can i do to get rid of this fibroid. The GP has said it will not and does not affect my fertility. I have bought your programme, but mind you been busy with a exam coming up in june that have not had the time to sit and listen. thanks, i loor forward to recieving your response.
Also i have IBS, yesterday had dibeliating headache lasted for 6 hours and felt nauseous, took some milk and paracetamol and got relief with a lot of belching, there was a lot of trapped wind in the stomach. This happens to me once a month around ovulation or sometimes before period.
thanks. hajera

Hi Jane,

CoQ10 deficiency can trigger braxton hicks and contribute to irritable uterus and preterm delivery.
Get a good quality CoQ10 (Ubidecarenone) 150mg and take one a day.
Omega 3's are also necessary and deficiency can lead to preterm birth. In addition watch your weight as being overweight can also trigger braxton hicks. Elevated levels of homocysteine can also trigger preterm labor, so you may want to have them tested.
Do report back to keep us posted on your pregnancy!

All the best,
Iva

Hi, I am nearly 21 weeks pregnant with my second baby and for the past week have been experiencing frequent but irregular tightenings similar to braxton hicks. Sometimes it goes on every few minutes for a couple of hours and then subsides for many more hours. Having done some reading, I wonder if I have an irritable uterus. Bending over or moving in a certain way can trigger it off and then sometimes there are long breaks with no tightening. I have had hair mineral analysis and have been taking recommended supplements. I experienced this with my first pregnancy but didn't notice until 31 weeks. It did not have any effect on my cervix and my son was born at 38 weeks 2 days. Do you have any theories or advice about irritable uterus? I follow a whole food diet. Many Thanks
